RCM takes over Provost Automobiles
The RCM Group Integrates Provost Automobiles to Strengthen Its Position in the Classic Car Market
As part of its development strategy in the classic car segment, the RCM Group announces a strategic partnership with Provost Automobiles, a specialized body shop based in Saint-Saturnin, near Le Mans (72). This operation is part of the group's goal to expand its expertise through its dedicated subsidiary, Saga Classic, while preserving the identity and craftsmanship of this historic company.
A High-Value Collaboration
Starting April 1, 2025, RCM will become a shareholder of Provost Automobiles. This integration was initiated following a constructive exchange between Frédéric Provost, the head of the family business, and the RCM teams during the 2024 Rétromobile show. Attracted by a shared vision, the two parties quickly considered a long-term collaboration.
Frédéric Provost explains: "The rapport with the RCM management was excellent. During our second meeting, Ronan Chabot proposed a comprehensive integration plan, respectful of our history and values."
Investments to Support Growth
RCM will support the development of Provost Automobiles through a structuring investment program, including the expansion of the workshop, which will soon cover an area of nearly 2,200 m². The goal is to increase production capacity while modernizing the facilities.
Efforts will also be made to enhance communication, giving Provost Automobiles increased visibility both nationally and internationally.
A Team Retained and Valued
All employees of Provost Automobiles, approximately twelve people, will remain in place. Frédéric Provost will continue to lead the company alongside Franck Fagot, the technical manager. The RCM Group is committed to preserving the DNA of this body shop, known for its craftsmanship excellence and dedication to quality.

A Complementary Business Model
Provost Automobiles' business, focused on serving passionate individual customers, will naturally complement the offering of Saga Classic. Synergies will be created between the two entities, particularly in terms of supply, sourcing spare parts, and sharing technical expertise.
This merger marks a new milestone in the RCM Group’s diversification strategy, firmly oriented towards the future while honoring the heritage and passion for classic cars.
